Road Paving & Front Entrance Work Begins 9/21

Beginning Monday, September 21, and for approximately the next six weeks, Jerry Chvarak’s crew from Regional Pavement Maintenance will be on-site repaving our streets.

During the first phase of the project, the streets will remain open as the existing asphalt is pulverized, and the streets are re-graded and prepared for the new asphalt surface.  Residents may experience minor traffic delays during this phase, but every effort will be made to minimize the inconvenience.  Please drive cautiously, as there will be heavy equipment and men working in the streets.

Please do not park on the street during this time.  Keep all vehicles in your garage and/or driveway.  Your vehicles will be towed at your expense if you are parked on the street and blocking work crews and machinery.  Driving on the pulverized asphalt is allowed, until otherwise notified by the paving company.  Notices and signs will be posted in various places in the community, and any of the workmen are available to answer your questions.

The placement of the new asphalt surface (second phase) will require street closures on the day each street is paved.  The paving will be completed in four sections. Residents will be notified in advance of the street closure schedule, and paving signs will also be posted.  The weather and other factors influence the schedule so we cannot provide that now.  Please read your emails and check your front doors for paper delivery.  And, please consult this website for up-to-date information.

If you plan on using your vehicle the day your street is paved, please make arrangements in advance to move the vehicle out of the effected area before 6 am that day.  Vehicles not moved prior to 6 am will not be able to drive on the street until all barricades are removed.

At the same time the street project is going on, Brian Connolly’s team from SDL will be busy working on the front entrance.  There will be lots of activity with work crews, so be extra careful entering and exiting.  The gates will be in the open position for most of this time.

Do not hesitate to call Brian (602-694-3424) or Jerry (480-229-7999), during regular business hours, if you have any questions about these projects.

Thank you for your patience during these important community improvement projects.
