From: Board of Directors
The current pandemic has required that we all make
changes---changes that could help you, your family and your neighbors protect
yourselves from becoming infected with the Coronavirus.
The Board wants to continue business as usual (as much as
possible) but we also need to adopt some changes in our operations. Listed
below are those changes as well as some general status updates:
1.
The care and maintenance of our development will
continue as usual through this crisis period.
2.
For now, all group events sponsored by the HOA
will be cancelled-----until CDC guidelines suggest it is safe for groups to
gather.
a.
The Annual membership meeting has been cancelled
and will be rescheduled this fall.
b.
Pool parties will be suspended until deemed
safe.
c.
In-person board meetings will be held when
conditions are acceptable. We will limit
attendance to board members only or may even do the meeting via a conference
call. If you have some topic you would
like the board to consider, please contact Amber Sharp and she will bring it to
the board’s attention.
3.
At the February meeting, we passed a streamlined
process for approving architectural requests. Submit to SRCA as usual but our
approval no longer has to wait for a board meeting.
4.
We remain on track with our budget. Old age required that some spa pump/aerator
equipment be replaced. We also had major
electric upgrades and repairs done in the pool area.
One final note. We realize that this worldwide crisis may
have some financial repercussions for some of our residents. If you find yourself having problems paying
your monthly assessment, please contact Amber.
On a case by case base, we will try to provide whatever support it
warranted.
If you have any questions about anything in this update,
please contact Amber.
Stay safe and healthy!!!!!!!!
