Pool re-opening delayed until Dec 16th

Work on the pool was delayed a bit due to last week's rainy weather. Work is expected to conclude this weekend, and then the pool will need to be refilled. We are anticipating that we can reopen the pool on Tuesday, December 16th.

Community Pool Will Be Closed: 12/1 - 12/12

The Suntree East community pool will be closed from December 1st through December 12th for repairs.

• Pool will be drained for installation of new tile around the waterline. New tile is needed as water is seeping under the current tiles and if we do not replace, additional damage will be caused to the pool.
• Missing tiles on the pool steps will be repaired/replaced.
• There are several spots in the pool interior floor surface that were identified in the Maricopa County inspector's report that need to be resurfaced as they are not smooth.
• Also identified in the report, are missing pool water return inlets that will be replaced.
• The pool decking will be completely resurfaced to fix cracks in the decking.

Irrigation work to begin on Monday, November 10th

Irrigation improvements will take place from Monday, November 10, through no later

than Friday, December 19.

Our landscaper, Joe, will be working with Aqua Trac to improve our irrigation controllers,

valves and sprinkler heads.  

 

These improvements will conserve water and help keep water from running off into our streets.

 

 

Trick-or-Treaters are coming --- Friday, October 31

 

 

 Starting at dusk on October 31, little witches and ghosts will be traveling the streets of Suntree East trick-or-treating. If you welcome these small neighbors, please turn on your lights and consider placing a lighted pumpkin at your front door or garage area. If you do not wish to be disturbed, consider keeping your lights off. This will help the trick-or-treaters navigate our community.

As a reminder, please drive carefully at all times on our streets.

The social committee has announced dates for upcoming gatherings at the Suntree East Community Pool.

Sunday, October 19th (4:00 pm to 6:00 pm)

Via Linda Gate - repair in progress

The Via Linda entrance gate has been experiencing a recent mechanical malfunction. The issue has been diagnosed, and it will be fixed as soon as possible.  However, it may be mid-week before completely fixed.  Keep watching this website for further information.

Pool Closed - Tuesday, July 8th

The Suntree East Community Pool will be closed on Tuesday, July 8th for the installation of new pool filters. Please plan accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

4th of July

For those of you who haven't been to the pool recently, a new gate was installed at the bottom of the stairs to the second story of the pool house for safety & security reasons.

A few residents have asked that the gate be opened on 4th of July for fireworks viewing. The gate will be open from 7:00 pm until midnight. 

You will still need to use your pool key to enter the pool area. Please, no pets or glass at the pool and children must be accompanied by an adult.
